People who believed in and share this article titled "Kita Bankrap la, tahun depan" written by DAP member, my ex-FB friend and zombie creator, Selena Tay can only be classified as stupid and naive.
http://
Apparently her source of information and proof that Malaysia is going bankrupt next year comes from "seorang penghantar dokumen (despatch rider) yang bekerja di sebuah firma guaman di KL." and also from "50 orang pekerja pejabat di KL yang telah diwawancara oleh penulis "
I do remember her equally moronic previous articles were based on the authoratative "5 coffee shop towkays in Kepong" and 10 "Bank staff in the golden triangle".
Hello Selena, Indonesia's oil production is more than double Malaysia's and their RON88 is RM2.36 per litre (compared to Malaysia's RON95 at RM2.26). Thailand and Philippines also are oil producing countries but not exporters and their petrol is also way more expensive than Malaysia.
The USA produces 20 times more oil than Malaysia and their oil is more expensive. Norway produces way more oil than us and their petrol is 3 times more expensive than us.
Malaysia continues to be among the 20th cheapest petrol (and 22nd cheapest diiesel) in the world and the 19 countries above Malaysia are all major oil exporters - unlike Malaysia who has a measly net oil exports of 46,000 barrel of oil per day only.
Petrol used to be RM1.10 per litre 25 years ago in 1990 and now it is RM2.26 - a doubling of price over a quarter of a century is not too bad, is it?
And plus, Malaysia's new managed float petrol pricing is transparent and based on recent MOPS pricing trend, next month the price of RON95 will surely drop again.
And oh... there is not much price difference between RON97 with RON95 because both are on the same managed float formula and a TWO RON difference is not a lot in the first place.
But having said that, even though there is not a lot difference, RON97 continues to be sold out coz too many grass-eating Malaysians don;t mind paying the extra 20sen for RON97.
Petrol goes up 20sen, people scream and shout. Petrol goes down 4sen, people scream and shout.
Apa lagi Selena Tay wants?
