Kajang move needed because Najib was about to be toppled from power and Umno would soon fall to the ultras led by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Once that happened, there would be a fullblown manipulation of racial and religious controversies leading to a possible Darurat in Selangor which only another Mentri Besar like Anwar could handle.

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim today stood by the so-called Kajang Move, claiming that the administration change in Selangor was necessary and the people of the state were already benefiting from the installation of Azmin Ali as the new Menteri Besar.
Speaking to reporters at PKR headquarters here, Anwar said, “My position has been clear and consistent. We made that move to ensure better governance and transparency.” ( CLEAR AND CONSISTENT?) CONSISTENT?
He claimed that things had changed for the better in Selangor and commended Azmin for dealing with issues such as “water, Kidex, garbage collection.”
