Oppressed Malaysians fed-up of eating grass and sand, queues up overnight at the newly opened H&M outlet in Kota Kinabalu to buy "skinny" jeans. Tan Boon Leong waited 12 hours to get a pair of skinny jeans from the newly opened H&M outlet at the 1Borneo Hypermall in Likas today.
The 21-year-old Universiti Malaysia Sabah student from Penang, who studies Food Science and Technology, also spent the night at the hall, just so he could be the first person to enter the outlet when it opened its door to qualify him for the RM200 worth gift voucher.
“I actually live nearby, so it is convenient for me to stay inside the mall and wait,” said the young lad from Penang, who ‘camped’ at the hypermall with his two other friends.
He said the security guards did not question their “stay”, as many others also spent their night outside the mall.
He, however, postponed his shopping trip to another day to avoid the congestion, adding that he would share his win with his two other friends “for their faithfulness”.
