PETRONAS TERSENARAI DI TANGGA KE 69 SYARIKAT TERBESAR DI DUNIA.

In the latest Fortune Global 500 list of the 500 biggest companies in the world, Petronas ranked at 69th place while Indonesia's Pertamina ranked at 123rd place.
Despite founded 17 years later than Pertamina and despite Indonesia producing much more oil domestically than Petronas, Petronas has grown to be many times bigger than Pertamina and having profits that are many times of Pertamina.
Thailand's national oil company founded in 1978 ranks at 84th place and registers profits similar to Pertamina but is still many times lower than Malaysia and has assets worth less than one-third of Petronas but slightly bigger than Indonesia.
Malaysia held proved oil reserves of 4 billion barrels as of January 2014 and in 2013, Malaysia produced 586 thousand barrels per day of crude oil - the 26th highest in the world.
However, Malaysia's domestic consumption of oil in 2013 was 625 thousand barrels per day.
As of January 2014, Thailand held 449 million barrels of proven crude oil reserves. In 2013, Thailand produced 239 thousand barrels per day of crude oil, number 35th highest in the world.
Domestic oil consumption in Thailand was 1 million barrels per day in 2013 - only 60% more than Malaysia despite Thailand population being more than double of Malaysia.
Indonesia used to produce as much as 2 million barrels of oil a day but due to depletion, Indonesia now only produces 875 thousand barrels of crude oil per day, the 24th highest in the world. Indonesia has proven oil reserves of 4.03 billion barrels.
Indonesia's domestic oil consumption in 2013 was at 1,61 million barrels a day - more than double of Malaysia despite a population size 9 times bigger.
Countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, UK, USA, Australia and Singapore do not own their national oil companies fully anymore.
If Malaysia lists Petroleum on the stock-market, it is anticipated to be worth more than a trillion ringgit and just by selling 50% or less of Petronas to investors, Malaysia can essentially wipe off all government debt to zero.
No country in the world has zero government debt.
