DAP Berjaya Pujuk Syarikat Taiwan Untuk Batalkan Pelaburan Di Johor.

Last year in July, Pakatan Rakyat leaders actually went to Taiwan to protest and asked the Taiwan company and their govt not to invest in the Pengerang project in Johor. http://tinyurl.com/lmgwzzr

These clever people were DAP's ADUN for Mengkibol, Tan Hong Pin; DAP Tangkak ADUN Ee Chin Li; DAP ADUN for Bentayan Chua Wee Beng and Johor PAS representative Mazlan Aliman.

Their group also wrote to Taiwan President Ma Ying-Jeou to protest against the Pengerang project , Johor, by the Taiwan state-owned Kuokuang Petrochemical Technology Co.

And in fact, the president’s office actually wrote back!

The reply sent through email states that their complaints will be followed up by Executive Yuan - the executive branch of Taiwan government. “We are very much concerned about the issue raised by you and view it seriously. Hence, we have forwarded your letter to the relevant authority, which is the Executive Yuan.

“It will reply to you directly. Please wait for the outcome of the process,” said the reply. Months later, the Taiwanese plant project in Pengerang got CANCELLED and Johor lost about RM35 billion in foreign investment. http://tinyurl.com/obxofmq

Therefore, my question to DAP is this:

Is it okay if people also protest against foreign invested projects in Penang and help you lose foreign investment?

Would you like that?
