Never mind that that Sarawak Govt roads are build on gotong-royong basis and that it is only a concrete road and not up to specifications or safety standards and also that the concrete alone will cost more than RM7k...
Meanwhile Penang DAP state govt says it spends RM30 million to build 12.5 km or RM2.4 million per km or RM288,000 for 120m to build BICYCLE lanes (not road).http://tinyurl.com/llqh3ek
To be fair to Penang DAP, they also said that in the second phase, they will only be spending RM5.3 mil to build another 2.9km of bicycle lanes - which is cheaper than phase one and is only a cheap RM1.83 million per km
But it is still RM219,000 per120m of bicycle lane and much much more expensive than the RM7,000 for 120m that Sarawak DAP can do it for.
Conclusion: Sarawak DAP should replace Penang DAP and Penang people will save a lot of money from songlap, mismanagement and leakages.
DAP should clarify. Either Sarawak DAP lying thru their teeth and try to cheat the Sarawak voters or Penang DAP songlap maximum and waste money like water.

Note: Sarawak Govt should immediately award a contract to Sarawak DAP to build 500 rural roads based on the above specifications (and conforming to safety standards).
Then get all the Sarawak DAP YBs to give a personal guarantee that in the event of non-completion, the Government reserves the right to complete it through open tender like what is being done now and for the DAP YBs to top up the difference
